Where Arkansas Brands Matter.

In her career of 25+ years, Katherine has had the honor of being an intricate part of the Arkansas media industry in leadership roles with Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Arkansas Times, and Talk Business and Politics. She has had the opportunity to build businesses, develop brand strategies, and cultivate customer experiences for several industries of private and public companies, government leaders, municipalities, and political brand personas. 

In 2020, she established KD Consulting Company, an independent business and brand development agency. She offers her professional services as both consultant and specialist with state agencies such as the Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center, the University of Arkansas, Arkansas State University, and the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Clientele includes SMBs, government, products, political, and personal brands.

 
Katherine enjoys connecting and creating opportunities and is determined to see Arkansas excel and prosper. Her knowledge base and extensive relationships allow her to be considered a specialist in building better brands. She has designed and implemented multi-media platforms, structured departments and organizations, and led public relations, community outreach, and crisis communications for reputation management.

Her colleagues and clients say her strength is her perspective. She puts herself at the table as a team member and provides unbiased insight so clients can make progress quicker and more efficiently. 

She is a Small Business Certified Consultant, Google Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Certified, a past SCORE Certified volunteer, and an Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center Contractor. She is also a Business and Brand Subject Matter Expert, Educator, and Speaker.

Born and raised in Arkansas, she hails from Little Rock, a UA Little Rock alumna, and resides in Benton, playing wife and maid to her husband, Wess, and her two human kids, Hayden and Grace, plus circus master of three fur babies. She attempts to regularly volunteer with her church and community nonprofits, offering civic services to improve poverty and food insecurity. She loves all The Natural State offers and loves to share and connect with others who do, too.
